Description of the Project

WOY aims to ensure its sustainability and financial autonomy. To do so, WOY is developing income-generating activities to cover the costs of its various projects.

Objectives

​

The aim of these projects is to generate financial income that will be used to cover the costs of running all of the various projects of WOY. To do so, WOY has purchased a 3-acres land to build a farm and has dug a well. Several projects are to be developed on the land and will include :

• Pig farm

We are currently raising 2 pigs and their piglets in a temporary farm. We just started to build the farm structure. The objective is to develop a non-smelling pig farm following a specific technique, developing an inoculated deep litter systems.

​

• Other activities

After the pig farm, we aim to develop other activities, including a chicken farm and a fish pond, to increase our revenues.

​

The objective is to sell the pigs, chicken, eggs and fish to nearby villages.
